NYX Smokey Palette Review

Hey guys! Today I'm doing a quick review on NYX's Smokey Palette.

First here is a picture and swatches.

There are 6 eyeshadow colors for $7. I would describe them as sparkly black, matte black, shimmery purple, shimmery dark blue, shimmery bronze, and shimmery white. The are beautiful colors in the pan but when swatched and applied to the eye they can tend to be dull. You definitely have to build the color with these shadows. I would say the bronze color is the less pigmented one in this group while the white and matte black are the most pigmented. The sparkly black tends to have a lot of fall out. It isn't straight up gritty glitter but the silver sparkles will end up all over you cheek if you aren't careful. On the upside they are very easy to remove with makeup remover and with my experience, do not crease badly with an eye primer underneath. They blend very well and if you are looking for a cheap smokey eye palette for a night on the town then this is the palette for you! :)

Disclaimer - This product was not sent to me for review. I purchased with my own money.
