Smashbox Always Sharp Lip Liner Review, Swatches, and Pictures

Hey guys! I'm here today with a review of the Smashbox lip liner in Frenchie. The really cool thing about this lip liner is that it sharpens itself! The product comes in a plastic tube and in the the cap is the sharpener. When you twist off the cap, it automatically sharpens the product. My only complaint about the packaging itself, is that when I use it, I don't always want to sharpen it, but it will anyway. I feel like this wastes the product, but there is no way to stop it without leaving the cap off but that will make the product dry out.

The actual product is amazing though. The color is a light baby pink. It glides on smoothly but doesn't slide everywhere. After you apply it you can blend it quickly but it will set. If I feel in my entire lips it will show lines and cracks in my lips but really, any lipliner will do this. It did not fade too much though out the day, but there was a little bit. Not enough to reapply it. At the end of the day it was fairly easy to remove with a makeup wipe. I did have to go over it twice though. I think it is a decent product, but nothing incredible. I probably will try a couple more colors though. They have 16 colors, ranging from nude to pink to red. Mostly they have many shades of pink. If you would like to try this, you can for $20 here.

OCC Lip Tar Test Tube x3 Set Review, Picures, and Swatches

Hey guys! I'm here today to review the OCC Lip Tar Test Tube Set in Pink Prism. This product comes with 3 mini tubes of Lip Tar and a mini lip brush. A full size lip tar contains .33 fl oz and the three deluxe size samples come with .08 fl oz. Now, I know that sounds like there is barely anything in there compared to the full size, but you barely have to use any product to fill in your lips. There is no way I'll be able to finish one of my full size ones, so maybe I won't waste one of these babies! Anyway, the three colors that come in this pack are Pretty Boy, Lovecraft, and the primer. Pretty boy is claimed to be a matte fuchsia, but when it dries, there is still a sheen there. That doesn't bother me at all to be honest, the color stays there all day. Really. All day. It lasted through eating, drinking, touching my mouth all day. It's amazing. This would be the one that I would use up completely. Lovecraft is a metallic blue based pink. And man, it has some shimmer. Since it's honesty hour, I would never wear this by itself. It sinks into fine lines, shows everything you don't want to show on your lips, and slides everywhere. I was really sad because the color is so so pretty.

But the great thing about lip tars and that you can mix them. They come in squeeze tubes with very small openings so it is very easy to control how much you want to squeeze out. So when mixed Lovecraft with Pretty Boy it created a light pink with a little bit of shimmer. It almost looked like Pink Nouveau lipstick from MAC. And lastly, the primer is the same consistency as the lip tars, which is somewhat of a semi thick lip gloss. You are supposed to apply this before your colored lip tar so it will last longer, but I really do not think it does anything. I tried it with regular lipsticks too,  and it just makes everything a goopy mess. But I guess it would work well as a regular clear gloss on top of lipsticks as well. I really loved this set and thought it was a great deal. I just might have to but all the other ones also. If you would like to try this, you can for $19 here.

Smashbox Be Legendary Long Wear Lip Lacquer Review, Pictures, and Swatches

Hey guys! I'm here today to review the Smashbox Lip Lacquer in Fuchsia. This product is described as a long wear lip hybrid formula, and I have to agree. It goes on like a gloss, but stays on like a lipstick. It stayed on my lips all day, even through lunch. I barely had to touch up. It is not at all sticky, and this color had a little shimmer to it, which looked beautiful. The color was a darker pink fuchsia. The applicator is a sponge in an hourglass shape, which is flat. I don't really like it, but it gets the job done so it doesn't really matter. It's very pigmented and hydrating almost, it does not dry your lips out at all. If you're hesitant to buy this because you don't like lipgloss, I urge you to try it because it is not like a gloss at all. If you would like to purchase this, you can for $24 here.

LANCÔME Lip Lover Lip Gloss Review, Pictures, and Swatches

Hey guys! I'm here today to review Lancome Lip Lover in Casse Noisette, which is Russian for Nutcracker. This lipgloss comes in a silver bottle with a clear window to see what color you have. There is a little button between the cap and the bottle and you can press it and it will pop the lid up so you can take the wand out of the bottle. It really is cool. The wand has a standard doe foot applicator on the end. The gloss itself is very pigmented and glossy. It's hydrating and stays on for a few hours before reapplication. It's not very sticky, but hair will definitely stick to it :/ The color is a pinky nude. It goes with any eyeshadow. I might purchase a few more colors, I would love to try the darker shades and see their pigmentation for myself. If you would like to purchase this you can for $23 here.

Sephora + Pantone Universe Venus Lure Lip Balm Review, Pictures, & Swatches

Hey guys! Long time, no see. I'm here today to review Sephora's + Pantone Universe Color of the Year Lip Balm in Radiant Orchard. Each year they team up together and release a slew of new beauty products centered around the color of the year. I'm a little late to the game, but this years color is Radiant Orchard. I bought this on its own a few weeks ago but it seems like they no longer sell it by itself, but it is still available it the set with all the other beauty products and luckily for you, since I waited so long, it's on sell! I'll give you the link after the review. So onto the product. It looks like a regular lipstick when you open it, but when you apply it to your lips it feels like a lipbalm and if you bare down to hard it will break. Mine did. I had no idea it was this soft. It literally melted down into the tube. I was a little heart broken. So I can't use it as a lipstick anymore and apply it straight from the tube, but I can use my finger and apply it but I don't like it as much. At least I took pictures before I used it. The color is extremely sheer and not very build able but it is still a pretty color. It doesn't last very long on the lips either. So, I'm pretty disappointed in this product but I have high hopes for other products from this collaboration. If you would still like to try this product and others, you can here for $39.

Sephora Nano Lip Liner in Native Nude Review and Swatches

Hey guys! I'm here with a review of Sephora's Nano Lip Liner in Native Nude. It is a small lip liner that is a pinky nude color. It is a little lighter than my lips but looks amazing on and works with any color lipstick. It glides on so easy and stays on forever. Literally. I swatched it on my arm and it didn't come off for two days. Two days guys! It is also really pigmented and actually looks like the color on the pencil. For only $5 it is a steal! I can definitely see myself purchasing many more colors. The line has 19 colors ranging from nudes, to pinks, to reds, to purples. I highly recommend this product! You can get it here.
