OCC Lip Tar Test Tube x3 Set Review, Picures, and Swatches

Hey guys! I'm here today to review the OCC Lip Tar Test Tube Set in Pink Prism. This product comes with 3 mini tubes of Lip Tar and a mini lip brush. A full size lip tar contains .33 fl oz and the three deluxe size samples come with .08 fl oz. Now, I know that sounds like there is barely anything in there compared to the full size, but you barely have to use any product to fill in your lips. There is no way I'll be able to finish one of my full size ones, so maybe I won't waste one of these babies! Anyway, the three colors that come in this pack are Pretty Boy, Lovecraft, and the primer. Pretty boy is claimed to be a matte fuchsia, but when it dries, there is still a sheen there. That doesn't bother me at all to be honest, the color stays there all day. Really. All day. It lasted through eating, drinking, touching my mouth all day. It's amazing. This would be the one that I would use up completely. Lovecraft is a metallic blue based pink. And man, it has some shimmer. Since it's honesty hour, I would never wear this by itself. It sinks into fine lines, shows everything you don't want to show on your lips, and slides everywhere. I was really sad because the color is so so pretty.

 But the great thing about lip tars and that you can mix them. They come in squeeze tubes with very small openings so it is very easy to control how much you want to squeeze out. So when mixed Lovecraft with Pretty Boy it created a light pink with a little bit of shimmer. It almost looked like Pink Nouveau lipstick from MAC. And lastly, the primer is the same consistency as the lip tars, which is somewhat of a semi thick lip gloss. You are supposed to apply this before your colored lip tar so it will last longer, but I really do not think it does anything. I tried it with regular lipsticks too,  and it just makes everything a goopy mess. But I guess it would work well as a regular clear gloss on top of lipsticks as well. I really loved this set and thought it was a great deal. I just might have to but all the other ones also. If you would like to try this, you can for $19 here.

Smashbox Be Legendary Long Wear Lip Lacquer Review, Pictures, and Swatches

Hey guys! I'm here today to review the Smashbox Lip Lacquer in Fuchsia. This product is described as a long wear lip hybrid formula, and I have to agree. It goes on like a gloss, but stays on like a lipstick. It stayed on my lips all day, even through lunch. I barely had to touch up. It is not at all sticky, and this color had a little shimmer to it, which looked beautiful. The color was a darker pink fuchsia. The applicator is a sponge in an hourglass shape, which is flat. I don't really like it, but it gets the job done so it doesn't really matter. It's very pigmented and hydrating almost, it does not dry your lips out at all. If you're hesitant to buy this because you don't like lipgloss, I urge you to try it because it is not like a gloss at all. If you would like to purchase this, you can for $24 here.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit Review, Pictures, and Swatches

Hey guys! I'm here today to review the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit. I know, I'm a little late to the game, but I've had this awhile and wanted to use it and get to know it before I reviewed it. To start off this kit comes in a thin black cardboard with a magnetic closure. I feel like this won't open, unless you open it yourself. I would have really loved a mirror, but there isn't one, so that kind of sucks, but the world will go on. It contains 6 powder shades with 3 highlighters on the top and 3 contour shades. All of them are matte, except for Sand which has a slight shimmer. Each pan can be removed and replaced when you use a shade up or you want to order a different shade, which there are many on the Anastasia website. 

Vanilla - This shade is a light off white cream shade. It is completely matte and blends really well. I like to use this to brighten up my under eye area.

Banana - This shade is a pale yellow/white color and is matte. I really love using this shade to set under eye concealer. It sets the concealer and helps brighten dark circles.

Sand - This shade is a shimmery nude, almost champagne color. It's not over the top shimmer, it's gives off that perfect dewy sheen on your cheekbones. It's the perfect highlight shade for any skin tone. 

Java - This shade is a warm matte brown but with neutral undertones. It can be easy to go a little heavy handed with this shade, so tap off your brush before applying.

Fawn - This shade is a cool neutral matte taupe color. I LOVE this shade, it is so perfect for contouring your cheekbones, forehead, nose, and jawline.

Havana - This shade is a very warm red based matte brown. It can tend to be a little orange, so I don't use this shade too often. 

Too finish off the review, I adore this palette. I think it's great for beginners or professional makeup artists and everyone in between. Any skin tone can use this palette. If you would like to purchase this, you can for $40 here.

Urban Decay Electric Pressed Pigment Palette Review & Swatches

Hey guys! I'm so excited today because I am here to review Urban Decay's Electric Pressed Pigment Palette. This palette consists of 10 pressed pigments that are insanely pigmented and bright and a double ended brush. Before I want to start this review, I have to point out that a few of the shades are not intended for immediate eye area. Those colors include: Slowburn, Savage, Jilted, and Urban. The reason why you can't use them in your eye area is because they are some of the brighter colors. If you have sensitive eyes, I would not recommend using those colors on your eyelid, or around you eye. But if you do not have sensitive eyes, I believe it would be okay. So lets start reviewing the colors! Starting at the top left, Revolt is a bright silver shade. It has tiny silver specks of glitter which are prone to fall out. If you tap off your brush, it doesn't fall out too bad though. It's one of the rougher shades that are not as smooth, but it has good staying power. The next color is Gonzo which is a matte turquoise with a silver pearl finish. It is very soft and blends beautifully. Slowburn is next and it is an orange red matte, with almost a peachy pearl finish in the pan. On the eye, its a lot more matte and very soft. Next is Savage which is a very hot pink matte, but is one of the drier shades, but still blends okay. The last shade on the top is Fringe which is a metallic teal. It's a great shadow, but one of my least favorites. The first shade on the bottom is Chaos which is a cobalt matte blue. This shade is amazing. It is a little dry, but blends really well. It is definitely an uncommon shade. Jilted is next and it is a bright fuchsia which a blue shift to it. It is very soft and blends well. Next is Urban and it is a bright shimmery grape purple. It has pink undertones and looks really well with green eyes. Next to last is Freak which is a very light green with yellow gold shift. It is one of the softest colors and blends very very well. Finally we have Thrash which is a lime green matte with a gold hue. It is a little dry but still blends on the eye. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure Review and Swatches

Hey guys! I'm here today with a review of Hourglass new Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure. I had a hard time picking out a color at Sephora because all of them are soooo pretty. This color is a soft mauve with light cream veining. It has subtle shimmer and looks glowing on the skin. This color looks very natural and stays on the skin very well. It's butter smooth and blends effortlessly. The packing it comes in is a very reflective golden-ish plastic snap closure. It's very sleek and a little thicker than a NARS blush. Dior Rosy Tan Eyeshadow Palette Review and Swatches

Hey guys! I'm here today with a review of Dior's eyeshadow palette in Rosy Tan. The palette comes with 5 different colors which are a light satin pink, a dark shimmery brown with gold flecks, a medium/taupe matte brown, a bronze shimmer, and in the middle, a light cream with lots of shimmer! That's what I love about this palette, all the shimmer! All of these colors work perfectly together to create a bronzed eyeshadow look. All of the shades are buttery and smooth but the cream in the middle is a tad bit drier than the others. It's about the size of my palm, which makes it awesome for travel. The palette comes with two mini double sided sponge brushes - which I hate. But whatever, I just threw them in the 'extra' brush bin. A.K.A. - Where brushes go to die. But hey, I might keep theses just because they say 'Dior'. In the palette there is also a nicely sized mirror, which I love. It also comes with it's own velvet pouch, which makes it feel extra expensive. Let's face it people, it is expensive. But I didn't pay for it! Thanks to my sweet aunt and uncle I bought this with gift cards to Sephora from Christmas. They understand my addiction. Urban Decay Naked3 Palette Review and Swatches

Hey guys! I'm here today with a review of Urban Decay's Naked 3 palette. Ahhhh!!! It's finally here!! I felt like dancing when the mail man brought the package to my door. Everyone and their dog is obsessing over this palette and I can see why. This palette contains 12 rose gold toned eyeshadows ranging from shimmers to mattes. It is the same packaging as the Naked 2 palette which is good because I hate the packaging of the first Naked palette. It comes with a dual sided brush; one end is small and flat which is good for packing on the color and the other side is a small flat blending brush good for getting inside the crease. It also comes with four samples of their primer potions including the Original, Eden, Sin, and Anti - Aging. I think this palette is amazing but would really look good on pale skin and people with green eyes (like me!).
