Silver and Red Valentines Makeup Tutorial

Hey guys! Today I'm doing a tutorial on the look I am wearing today. You can wear this for Valentines Day or any other special occasion. I will list every product on my face at the end, so let's get started!

First start by priming your eye with an eye primer.

Then add a medium matte brown eyeshadow to the crease and blend upwards. This will act as a transition shade and will help our other shadows blend easier.

Then add a shimmery black in the crease and blend sideways. Try not to blend upwards or downwards. This will create a very soft cut crease.

Next add a very shimmery silver eyeshadow. I used MAC Fix + to give this shadow a but of a foiled effect.

Then add a light, very shimmery, white to the inner corner. Next put on some thick black liquid eyeliner.

Next add pencil black eyeliner to your water line and smudge in into your lower lash line. Also add some of the silver the very bottom on the black liner on the bottom lash line.

Then add mascara and lashes if you want!

Finally add some red lipliner and red lipstick! I didn't like the lipstick I put on first so I layered a darker one over it. Feel free to make it darker or lighter. I wish I went with an even darker red.

Sephora All Access Glam Gold and Silver Eye and Face Palette Review, Pictures, and Swatches

Hey guys! I'm here today with a review of Sephora's All Access Glam palette today. This is a small palette, about the size of my hand, that contains four neutral shades on the left, four smokey eye shades on the right, two blushes on the top, two blushes on the bottom, and a face highlighter in the middle. That's a lot of stuff for such a cheap price, folks! This is one of Sephora's holiday palettes, so it is limited edition. And you may be thinking that this palette is amazing but lets get down to business. The color quality is nowhere near mind blowing. Even with a primer underneath, the swatches were so underwhelming. Another thing is that the blushes are so small that it is very difficult to dip a regular sized blush brush into the pan without getting another color on the edge of the brush. That's really annoying because the blushes are the best thing about this palette. Other than that it is very travel friendly.

On the left side, you have four neutral/gold shadows. This first one is a white shadow with golden sheen. When swatched it looks almost completely matte. There is a slight sheen if you apply it with a stiff brush, but when blended out, the golden shimmer completely wipes away. Really disappointing.  The second color is a gold color. It is a very orangey gold, not a bright cool toned gold which a really like. Again this one in the plan look very shimmery with light golden pearls, but when swatched, it is completely wiped away and you're left with a light orange/gold color. Bleh. The third color is a yellow gold color with a slight sheen to it. When swatched there's very little color. Very very difficult to blend and even show up. In my opinion, one of the worst colors. The last color on the left side is a warm brown with lots of gold shimmer. This is the only color on this side that holds them shimmer when you use it. It does blend okay, but not buttery smooth.

On the right side, you have four smokey/silver eyeshadows. The top shade is a matte cream shadow. Very stiff and no pigment. My other least favorite shadow. The second shade is a taupe gray with silver shimmer. When swatched it is a very cool toned gray with a slight sheen. Nothing silver about it. One of the more better shadows. Still not blown away though. The third shade is the darkest in the palette. In the pan it looks like a dark gray with lots of bright silver glitter. When swatched it takes on an almost brown tone. Very strange. The last color is a bright silver. When swatched it's very shimmer and one of the softer shades.

In the middle you have four blushes and one highlighter. On the top you have two blushes. The left one is a very bronzed dark pink with lots of gold shimmer. You could use this has a bronzer if you have tanner skin, but if you have very light skin like I do, just use it as a blush. The color looks very weird on my skintone, so not my favorite, but the pigment is very smooth. The one next to it on the right is a bright pink. In the pan it has a very slight sheen, but when swatched it's matte. Very smooth, lots of pigment. My favorite part of the palette. On the bottom you have two more blushes. The left one is a coral/orange/pink color. Very different. When swatched it looks quite similar to NARS Deep Throat, but lighter. The right one is a rose toned pink. Nothing special, just a little stiff in the pan. In the middle you have a light golden face highlighter. It almost looks on the bronze side, but when on the skin it's very light and looks gorgeous. The very best part of the palette.

So all in all, I do not like this palette. It doesn't have amazing pigmentation and doesn't blend at all. I was very disappointed, but I will try to use it. If you guys would like to see a tutorial using some of these shades, let me know in the comments! And if you would like to check this out for yourself, you can for $15 here. Let's see some pictures.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure Review and Swatches

Hey guys! I'm here today with a review of Hourglass new Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure. I had a hard time picking out a color at Sephora because all of them are soooo pretty. This color is a soft mauve with light cream veining. It has subtle shimmer and looks glowing on the skin. This color looks very natural and stays on the skin very well. It's butter smooth and blends effortlessly. The packing it comes in is a very reflective golden-ish plastic snap closure. It's very sleek and a little thicker than a NARS blush. I cannot wait to purchase more of these! If you would like to purchase one of these you can here for $35.

NARS Blush in Madly Review and Swatches

Hey guys! I'm here today with a review of NARS Madly Blush. It's described as a 'seashell pink' which I don't think fits very well. It's more of a light medium brown with peach and orange tones. I know that doesn't sound pretty to some people, but it is gorgeous. It doesn't have a lot of shimmer, more of a sheen to it and goes on really really smooth. It looks great on my pale skin but I think it would look absolutely amazing on more tan skin. This is definitely an everyday blush to throw on and it will look good with whatever other makeup you have on. I love it and for $28 you can buy it here, or here. Now onto pictures!

Wet n Wild Color Icon Blush Review and Swatches

Hey guys! I'm here with a short review of Wet n Wild's Heather Silk blush. The color is a dusty pink with a slight slight hint of shimmer. It is incredibly pigmented for a drugstore blush. It can be used with a lighter hand for a light wash of color or with a heaver hand for more of a punch. The packaging is long, sleek, and black. It comes with a small brush which honestly I threw away after photographing it because it was useless. These can cost around $2 - $4 depending on where you live but Wet n Wild is always on sale. I got mine for around $1.50 at Walgreens. Now for pictures!

Sephora Desert Sunset Eyeshadow and Blush Palette Review and Swatches

Hey guys! I'm here tonight with a review of Sephora's Desert Sunset palette. This palette contains 12 eyeshadows, 1 blush, and 1 bronzer. It is a lot smaller then I thought it would be, about the size of my hand. I really like that because it is perfect for travel. The shades are fairly neutral with a dark purple, olive green, and dark black. There are only two matte shades and they are black and an off white. The rest of the shades are shimmery with minimum fallout. The one that has the most fallout would be the medium brown at the top right, which I was sad about because I was really excited about that shade. The blush is bright pink and the bronzer is crazy shimmery, so it is kind of hard to use as a contour but is perfect for putting color back into your face! This product retails for $16 but is one sale for $10. If you would like to purchase this for yourself, you can here Ok, now onto the swatches.

Everyday Foundation Routine

Hey guys! I'm here with an everyday foundation routine. The products will be listed below as always.

This is the finished product. No makeup face = gross.

Let's get started!
First I spray my face with toner and use a primer in my T - Zone. Then I put a yellow toned concealer under my eyes.

Then foundation! I squirt it on the back of my hand and use a flat foundation brush and  brush it on my face. This part takes the longest of course. It is the base for the rest of your makeup, so I really spend a lot of time with my foundation and make sure it's blended and looks nice.

Then I put concealer on my blemishes and dark spots. And add powder all over my face.

Next I add bronzer to my cheekbones, forehead, and the side of my nose. It's more noticeable in real life.

And then I add blush to my cheeks and highlighter to my cheekbones.

And this is the final look!

Benefit's Matthew Williamson's The Rich is Back! Kit Review

Hey guys! Today I'm here with a review of Benefit's Matthew Williamson's The Rich is Back! Kit Review. It bought it for $24 and you can buy it here. It comes with four eyeshadows, a mini They're Real mascara, a mini lipgloss in Inferno, and a cheek powder. All four eyeshadows are shimmery and so is the blush. The eyeshadows are Solid Gold (shimmery gold), Get Down Brown (dark shimmery brown), Disco Dust (champagne), and Feel So Teal (dark teal). The blush is Gimme Fever and is almost a brownish pink color. It's very sheer and I would use it as a highlighter, not a blush. The eyeshadows are very vibrant and buttery. The lipgloss is red with gold shimmer and it settles into fine lines and looks very streaky. It smells nice though. It also comes with a Tip Booklet with a tutorial on how to use the eyeshadows.
