NARS Audacious Lipstick Pictures, Swatches, and Review

Hey guys! I'm here today with a review of NARS Audacious Lipstick in the color Anna. Before we get into the color and formula of the lipstick, lets talk about the packaging! The old NARS lipstick packaging was the rubbery packaging that everyone knows NARS for, but these are a new, metal like, square type packaging. And the coolest thing about it, the top is a magnetic closure to the bottom! It's really cool to slide it on and off a bunch of times. I was afraid that the lid would slide right off in my purse, but the magnet is really strong, so no worries about that. The one downfall to the packaging though, is the fingerprints. The second you touch it, they're on there and they are not coming off, so don't even try to clean it.

Anyway, on to the actual formula! Anna is a rosy pink with no shimmer. It's not a matte, there is a little but of shine to it. It's very smooth and creamy and applies evenly in one coat. It's very creamy, so be careful trying to get a super straight edge. I think it is a great shade to throw on and go about your day. It doesn't come off or slide around for about 5 hours on me. This particular shade go with every makeup look, so I think it's a must have! You can try it for yourself for $32 here or here.

MAC Rebel Lipstick Review, Pictures, and Swatches

Hey guys! I'm here today for a quick review of the MAC lipstick in Rebel. The color is a dark berry purple. It's almost opaque in the first swatch, so it's buildable. It seems very dark and scary in the tube, but on the lips it's very wearable. It is almost a raspberry color. It doesn't tug on the lips at all, it glides across. It wears for around 4 hours before needing a touch up. Most MAC lipsticks are hit with me and this one is another one. I really like it and find it very wearable. If you would like to try this, you can for $16 here.

Silver and Red Valentines Makeup Tutorial

Hey guys! Today I'm doing a tutorial on the look I am wearing today. You can wear this for Valentines Day or any other special occasion. I will list every product on my face at the end, so let's get started!

First start by priming your eye with an eye primer.

Then add a medium matte brown eyeshadow to the crease and blend upwards. This will act as a transition shade and will help our other shadows blend easier.

Then add a shimmery black in the crease and blend sideways. Try not to blend upwards or downwards. This will create a very soft cut crease.

Next add a very shimmery silver eyeshadow. I used MAC Fix + to give this shadow a but of a foiled effect.

Then add a light, very shimmery, white to the inner corner. Next put on some thick black liquid eyeliner.

Next add pencil black eyeliner to your water line and smudge in into your lower lash line. Also add some of the silver the very bottom on the black liner on the bottom lash line.

Then add mascara and lashes if you want!

Finally add some red lipliner and red lipstick! I didn't like the lipstick I put on first so I layered a darker one over it. Feel free to make it darker or lighter. I wish I went with an even darker red.

MAC Velvet Teddy Lipstick Review, Pictures, and Swatches

Hey guys! I'm here today to review MAC's lipstick in Velvet Teddy. This is a matte lipstick that a beige pink color with very full coverage. I feel like I don't have to keep going over my lips again and again to get the color payoff that I want, in one swipe, the color is there. On my skintone, this is a perfect nude color to wear with everything. And surprisingly for a matte, this lipstick is very smooth and creamy. It is nothing like Ruby Woo which is another matte lipstick by MAC, which is very dry and a little patchy. The constancy is very similar to the new Maybelline Creamy Matte lipsticks. This is an easy color to throw on in a hurry without lipliner. I really love this lipstick for a everyday color, of for an evening out. If you would like to try this, you can for $16 here. Now for some swatches!

Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick Review, Swatches, and Pictures

Hey guys! I'm here today to review Too Faced Liquid Lipstick in Melted Berry. This product comes in a squeeze tube with a doe foot applicator. When your squeeze the product out, it comes out of four tiny holes in the applicator. I really love that because its really hard to squeeze out too much. And the applicator is just the right size for applying it directly to your lips. The color is a deep berry red. I thought it would have a lot of purple undertones, but it barely does. It is mainly a very deep red. When you apply it, it barely budges. Even without a lip liner, it doesn't bleed all over your lips and barely fades. This stuff is awesome. I'm so glad I bought another one. If you would like to purchase this you can for $21 here.

Smashbox Be Legendary Long Wear Lip Lacquer Review, Pictures, and Swatches

Hey guys! I'm here today to review the Smashbox Lip Lacquer in Fuchsia. This product is described as a long wear lip hybrid formula, and I have to agree. It goes on like a gloss, but stays on like a lipstick. It stayed on my lips all day, even through lunch. I barely had to touch up. It is not at all sticky, and this color had a little shimmer to it, which looked beautiful. The color was a darker pink fuchsia. The applicator is a sponge in an hourglass shape, which is flat. I don't really like it, but it gets the job done so it doesn't really matter. It's very pigmented and hydrating almost, it does not dry your lips out at all. If you're hesitant to buy this because you don't like lipgloss, I urge you to try it because it is not like a gloss at all. If you would like to purchase this, you can for $24 here.

Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick Review, Swatches, And Pictures

Hey guys! I'm here today to review Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Melted Violet. This product comes in a very nice 'squeezy tube' and the lipstick comes out of the top through little holes in a doe foot like applicatior and you can apply it directly to your lips from the applicator or you could use a lip brush. I find it really easy to get a precise edge just using the applicator, but it is easy to use a lip brush also. But with this packaging, I feel like once the product stops coming out and you think it is empty, there is still product in the tube. The color is a bright magenta and orchid color. It doesn't feel like most matte lipsticks do, it is very smooth and creamy but dries completely matte. The color lasts forever. Very long staying power. And when you take it off, it stains your lips. But it's not super hard to get it off, you just have to use makeup remover. It's super opaque and very pigmented. I cannot wait to get ALL of the colors. There are only 9 other colors but they are all equally beautiful. If you would like to purchase this product, you can for $21 here.

Revlon Vintage Super Lustrous Limited Edition Lipstick Review and Swatches

Hey guys! I'm here today to review 3 of the 5 re-released shades of Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipsticks. I bought the colors Fifth Avenue Red, Snow Peach, and Jungle Peach. For the life of me, I couldn't find Icy Violet or Sandstorm. I searched everywhere. But honestly, I don't mind I didn't find them because I know they would not have looked good on me. Both were crazy shimmery and frosty. I more of a cream formula person. Speaking of cream, let's talk these lipsticks! The three that I got are super creamy and have great color payoff. The only color I have an issue with is Jungle Peach. This color is a nude peach and settles into the lines on my lips. Not cute. But it's easy to fix with a lipgloss. Fifth Avenue Red is a dark-ish neutral red, almost leaning toward blue-toned. It lasts forever! I drank, ate, and kissed my dog and it barely smudged. It's a great color, and I might have to buy a backup. Snow Peach is my absolute favorite. It is a bright peachy pink that has amazing pigmentation. It looks incredible on my skin tone and does not budge. Without lipliner or primer or lipgloss, it stayed on my lips like a stain. It was amazing! I love these lipsticks and I hope you do too! If you want to buy them, you can for $7.99 each at Walgreens, CVS, Rite-Aid, and any drugstore near you.
